I WAS BLESSED STAYING AT THE MEN'S HALFWAY HOUSE
I was blessed to spend a little over a year at the Cleveland House back in 2009-2010.|
Alan Rubin was instrumental in planting the seed of sobriety in my mind. This man cares about helping a person gain sobriety and learn how to live again, one day at a time.
There are meetings within a short drive, walking distance, and some that come to the house. All that, and it is a beautiful place to live too. There is a pool onsite, and you are 100 steps from the ocean.
The main thing that I got from the Cleveland House (a men's halfway house) was my choice back, which years of drugs and alcohol had robbed from me.
I am still on my journey today, but will always remember my time there.

I am the owner and director of the Cleveland House (men's halfway house) on the Ocean.
We have been in operation since 2003 and helped many alcoholics and drug addicts in early recovery, stay sober and clean.
We provide a nurturing, drug and alcohol free living environment and located 100 steps from the Atlantic Ocean.
There are 12-step meetings within 30 minutes walking distance. We also provide 7 in-house Alcoholic Anonymous meetings a week.
Residents have access to all types of water sports, fishing, volleyball, paddleball, yoga, running, rollerblading, or just relaxing on the beach.
We have a heated swimming pool and satellite TV in each room.

BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TURNED MY LIFE AROUND
Alcohol took everything away from me over and over again. I was totally defeated, could not hold a job and was lost.
15 years ago I started getting Sober. I attended AA, went to College and was awarded a 4.0 G.P.A. Worked hard at learning a trade. I was finally able to take care of myself. Even though life got better I went back to drinking.
Then I met Alan Rubin, moved into the Cleveland House (men's halfway house) and it changed my life forever.
Today, no matter what I go though I realize that a Drink (alcohol) won't make things better.
